Clear ability to pay the $2,500 program fee (either self-funded or via sponsorship).
Willingness to commit time and resources to scaling during/after the program.
Operating in a scalable manufacturing sector (food, skincare, household products, etc.).
Clear evidence of market demand and customer traction.
Potential to expand regionally or nationally within the next 2–5 years.
Founder is actively leading the business (not a passive owner).
Demonstrated commitment to learning and applying new strategies.
Alignment with MBS’s values: resilience, innovation, and leadership
Business has the capacity to create jobs, improve livelihoods, and contribute to industrial growth.
Bonus: women-led or youth-led businesses, as they strengthen your impact case with sponsors.
Open to applicants from across Africa, but ensuring regional balance (West, East, South, North).
Mix of industries so that one sector doesn’t dominate the cohort.
Must commit to attending at least 85% of sessions (virtual + physical).
